Most rewarding teaching moment: When my students tell me they love reading with me and also when they choose to read on their own. A love for reading increases comprehension and is a great life skill!
What do I love most about Lamont? I love the feeling of inclusion. We were warmly welcomed as a family and I was as a faculty member. I also love the emphasis of Christ in the school.
How do I make Jesus Christ real to my students? I try to emphasize that Jesus would want them to do their best in their work with me. I point out to students that God made them exactly how He wanted them to be. He didn't make a mistake and there is nothing wrong with them. Every child is made in His image and has different abilities and strengths and weaknesses. We love that God made us all different!
Favorite Bible passage: Philippians 1:6 "Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."
Favorite hobbies, interests, and activities: Reading, exercising, cooking and baking, spending summer at the beach or poolside and spending time with my husband and 4 girls. I love geography and maps and I enjoy having a cat as a pet. God is Good!

Inside the Classroom
In the ESSP classroom, I enjoy working with students in reading, math and other areas. I enjoy the challenge of finding ways to help them learn and understand concepts that are difficult for them. I work with all ages in many areas and try to meet the students at their level.
