We Love Our Grandparents!
Izzy found a caterpillar at Gavin's Orchard a few weeks ago, brought it home and has been watching it as it progressed into a butterfly. Last night this beautiful butterfly finally emerged! Today we all got to go outside and release it out into the sky. It was a pretty special moment!
I am so blessed to observe so many wonder-filled moments in my job!

Camp Roger
On October 6 we got to go with the elementary classes to Camp Roger in Rockford for a day of exploring God's creation! Our three sessions included hiking around the lake looking for different colors in nature, learning about animal habitats and feeding practices and creating art with natural elements. We even got to roast marshmallows on a fire! It was an amazing, full day that caused a few of us to
sleep on the bus on the way back to school!

Gavins Orchard
On September 17 we went on our first field trip to Gavins Orchard. We learned lots of things about how apples grow and the process that it takes to get them from seed to the store and to our homes.
